    Hello,

I have fallowed the tutorial "Solving OPL models on the cloud" and successfully run some basic projects using Watson Machine Learning, from my local computer.

Now I am trying to run a more complex project that uses a .dat file to get some data from an external file (csv or excel). However SheetConnection is not working and I am getting the error message "Failed (Error during generation …. Data parsing error:syntax error, …)"

The model works just fine on CPLEX OPL Studio but now we need a more powerful machine, so we are trying to solve it on cloud. Is there a function like ShettConnection that allows us to connect the data with the project running on the cloud?

    Thank you in advance.

    Alexandra

    Hi,

I was not explicit enough in https://community.ibm.com/community/user/datascience/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=5557&MessageKey=3349c730-d690-4322-aee9-be1e722fb2f2&CommunityKey=ab7de0fd-6f43-47a9-8261-33578a231bb7&tab=digestviewer&ReturnUrl=%2fcommunity%2fuser%2fdatascience%2fcommunities%2fcommunity-home%2fdigestviewer%3fcommunitykey%3dab7de0fd-6f43-47a9-8261-33578a231bb7%26tab%3ddigestviewer

but SheetRead does not work in the WML cloud so you can follow the workaround I offered.

    regards
