Unable to associate Machine Learning service to a project

  • 1.  Unable to associate Machine Learning service to a project

    I created a project and a Machine Learning service. Then I tried to associate the ML service with my project, but got the error, "The xxx-Machine Learning service didn't associate with project yyy." And the status for the service became "Failed" from "Not associated". Not sure if I missed any steps. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    One thing to check is that you have 'Administrator' Platform Access and 'Manager' Service Access on your Machine Learning service in Access IAM.  From my experience, it wasn't enough to only have 'Editor'.
