  • 1.  Chi-square in Custom Tabels

    Hi group,

I have a question. First of all, my statistics skill is on a basic level.

But I would like to generate tables with Custom Tabels where I get chi square tests for each column, against the total column.

As I understand it, when you use chi-square tests in the default mode, it compares each column to each other column not the total.

Is there somebody there that understand what I mean?

    Kind regards,

You can't do a test against the total, because the total column includes all the others.  To do something like that, you would need to construct a table where the column of interest appears along with a column with all the other cases and then do the chi squared test.
