How to use the Update file command

  • 1.  How to use the Update file command

    I'm using the following format for updating my primary data file and I keep getting an error that the filenames do not exist.

    UPDATE FILE=' /data/MasterJune.sav'

     /FILE= '/data/Julydistribution.sav'

     /BY= Email.
    I've rechecked the spelling and the file names are correct. Any pointers?
