    Hi,

I have an assignment that I do not know how to do it is a questionnaire (see attached file). It is a Swedish assignment, it says:
Calculate Cronbach's Alpha for the following groups, and present the score of Cronbach's Alpha for the 6 groups of questions.

    Question 1 to 5 = Rollen (Role)
    Question 6 to 10 = Rutiner (Routines)
    Question 11 to 15 = Resurser (Resources)
    Question 16 to 20 = Relationer (Relations)
    Question 21 to 25 = Regler (Rules)
    Question 26 to 29 = Jobsatisfaction1

The only help I got was where I can do the test --> Analyze – Scale – Reliability Analysis

How do I group the questions? Or what is the correct steps in ordet to do the analysis?

    Greatful for help!

    Hello, Linnea.

Help for the RELIABILITY procedure is available at https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/spss-statistics/27.0.0?topic=reference-reliability

Generally, its structure (in simplest form) is:

    RELIABILITY /VARIABLES=<varlist>.

Alpha is assumed by doing the above.

    1. Open your dataset.
    2. Open a syntax window (File > New > Syntax).
    3. Copy the syntax snippet above.
    4. Change <varlist> to the list of variable names you want; say Q1 TO Q5.
    5. Repeat that for any other variable lists you are interested in. Looks like you have a few.
