Welcome SPSS Statistics users to the IBM Community!
The IBM Community serves as a place to nurture product users (on the order of 150,000+ current members) past the point-of-sale to enhance skills, share best practices, and create a peer-to-peer collaborative environment with access to experts from various networks - business partners, IBMers, offering management, client success teams, marketing, community management, and much more. I am your community manager, overseeing this group and several others in the Data Science community, and look forward to helping you navigate your transition to this new community, keeping it up-to-date with the things you need and want, and working with a supporting cast to make it a valuable resource for your day-to-day activities.
First, here are some resources to get you started on community:
Now for what you'll see in this group: Discussion: Keep up to date with items exclusive to SPSS and feel free to chime in with your thoughts, questions or suggestions and answering questions in the forum. This particular thread, in fact, is a great place to drop a quick introduction - who you are, what you'd like to see in this group, what type of expertise you can offer, or any other nuggets of info!Resources: This is where you'll find call replays, pdfs, videos, downloads, extensions, white papers and other materials specific to SPSS for you to download, view, share, and comment on.
Don't miss the Digital Technical Engagement resource page listed there, with demo videos and more. Check out the library and give us feedback on what we're missing and other things you'd like to see. Blogs: Blogging is a great way to have a voice in the community and build your repertoire as an expert. Benefits of publishing blogs in our community:
- Members get direct and immediate access by way of the Latest Articles section of the group home page
- Articles highlighted on the community page in the featured content areas drive up to 20x more views
- Blogs published in the community appear in emails delivered to members who are subscribed to the group's daily digest
- You can share community blogs on any other external platform, including LinkedIn and Twitter. Community membership is not required to read blogs, only to comment

You may be curious about the
SPSS Stats forums, where you've probably spent your time up until now. That forum will be moving to
IBM Support so that you can still reference old threads and search for previously-answered questions. We'll make sure to share specific links once everything is in place.
Again, I welcome you to introduce yourself in the thread below, check out some discussions and events across our community, and to utilize this group space as a place for sharing resources, questions, and events. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!------------------------------
