Well, get ready because next week marks the beginning of PyData NYC (November 4th - 6th), a conference for bringing together the community of developers and users of open-source data tools.

Martin Hirzel of IBM, is an experienced research scientist, who will be giving a talk on Type-Driven Automated learning with Lale. Lale is an open-source project that supports semi-automated data science. Make sure to check out his talk at 2:10pm in Central Park East (6501a) to learn more!

Notable keynotes: Kelly Jin, the Chief Analytics office of New York; Chris Wiggins, Chief Data Scientist at the New York Times, Anne Bauer, a lead data scientist at New York Times, and Sara Seager, an astrophysicist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

We at IBM look forward to seeing you there!
