I don't believe that is possible with Optim Connect...and even if it were possible, I'd advise against it. We've found some shortcomings with Optim's memory management when attempting to run queries on too much underlying data inside an archive collection. You need to keep in mind that you are not getting the benefit of a DBMS engine to process your SQL against an archive collection. Instead, all this data is unloaded into memory and temporary space and it's easy to overwhelm the process, so s
maller and smarter is definitely better.

Thank you Friedrich. I was wondering if anyone was able to create just 1 datasource even though there are multiple collections.

Hi,
Each collection represent one datasource, i.e. if you want to have 1 datasource only you should archive in 1 collection only.

Subject: DataSource/Collection
Hello All,
If we have 10 schemas and I am archiving all 10 schemas by creating 10 different AD/AR's (live Archival). Each of this is tagged to a different collection i.e. I have 10 different collections going by schema name. For data retrieval, do I need to have 10 data sources created or can I have 1 data source created for all 10 collections?
Thank you
