    Any idea about this column CDC_EXCP_RSN?

    it came up when there was a failed update for a batch of 7 rows at target side . Where can I find documentation about this column?

    Event ID: 317

    Publisher(S)/Subscriber(T): T

    System ID: xxxx

    Event Text: Failed to update a row in table xxx.xxxxxx. APPLICATION: [DELIVER             ] ENVIRONMENT: [GLOBAL   ] INSTANCE: [GLOBAL              ] NAME: [HEARTBEAT           ] VALUE: [2021-08-02-13.00.30.634975                                                                                                      ] . IBM InfoSphere Data Replication applied a batch of 7 rows and the JDBC driver reported back that 0 rows have been updated for entry 0 from the batch. This may mean that the row from the batch could not be found in the database. Please review the documentation and turn off batching or reduce the batch size and retry the operation to narrow down to the rows that are failing to be applied

    Hello
    These are all data columns that CDC is replicating.
    You will need to revert to the customer /application for these details
    Regards

    But what does the value X or M under CDC_EXCP_RSN signify?

    Yeah there was an attempt for doing a differential mirrror and later , it resulted in 7 rows that didn't get through to the target.

    Thanks!

    1. Deleted row  -> Indicated by X
    2. New Record (Insert) -> Indicated by M
