    Hi, my name is Yuffie Zhang and I am a new Offering Manager for Test Data Fabrication. 
    I'd like to announce here that the IBM InfoSphere Optim Test Data Fabrication 1.0.2.3. (Fixpack 3) has been released on December 9th, 2020.

    New Features added are as follows: 

    • Support for MariaDB database 
    • Alpha version of TDF new user interface for database fabrication

    New user interface view:
    The newly updated TDF version includes a new implementation of a web-based graphical user interface. The new GUI provides a table-based view of the modeled data fields/columns. A set of fabrication rules is virtually associated with each field/column.


    Besides the new interface design and look-and-feel, the new GUI includes a new component called Rule Editor. The new component enables a graphical form-based definition of the data fabrication rules/constraints, instead of a textual definition of the constraints using the tool modeling language available in the previous versions of the GUI.
    The new Rule Editor significantly improves the modeling efficiency and enables a faster learning curve for new users. Both graphical and textual representations of a rule that is being edited are represented at the same rule modeling window. The GUI users may choose which rule definition method to choose based on their personal preferences and modeling experience. The graphical and textual rule representations are kept fully synchronized.
