I have used CP4D (v2.5) in various projects and one thing which sounds awkward to me is that you cannot move files from a Project folder to a DB2 instance easily without going through your local computer or a Cloud-based COS.
When working with Watson Studio, you might create data preparation and some data science tasks like clustering or anything else. Showing results in a nice Dashboard using Cognos Analytics for instance deployed on the CP4D cluster is a nice way of doing but then comes the supporting data storage for Cognos. In my case it's always been DB2 Warehouse on the same CP4D instance. So the need is to LOAD data into DB2 tables from the Studio generated file, but files from CP4D projects is not an option of the LOAD function (local file, S3, and COS I think are the only options).
I find this annoying and somewhat not very consistent with what a data pipeline could be. Do you feel the same? Are there any workarounds?
