    Hello,

Once registering terms, they cannot be deleted.
As for instruction, I once adopt them to "Mark Deletion", then click "Delete Draft",
but they still remains as published terms.

    Here is Clouvd Pak Information.

Does someone face with the same problem?

    Hi Chris,
after marking the term for deletion, you should see a draft view of this term. Later you need to get the delete action approved - in the typical "one approve workflow" template, there is an Approve action to be performed and once approved, Delete is the last action in the workflow. Alternatively, these operations can also be performed from the Workflow -> Tasks view or Workflow -> Drafts view once you filter for the term which you want to remove.
    Thank you,
    Joanna Janusz.

    Hello,

    Thank you for you reply.
I did as you said, but the terms to be deleted are still displayed as published words.
I wonder the pod related to governance has something wrong.

Anyway, thank you for telling me the other way of deleting the terms.

    Thank you.
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Joanna's description refers to the situation where you have configured a workflow in order to govern the creation, modification, or deletion of business terms. If you haven't configured a workflow, the default workflow configuration will be used. In that case, the deletion process works pretty much as you described above (except for step 5).

    1. Navigate to Organize -> Data and AI governance -> Business terms
    2. Locate and open the business term that you want to delete
    3. Select option Mark for deletion from the menu (icon with three dots)
    4. The business term will now be displayed as Draft and Marked for deletion.
    5. Click on Publish in order to complete the deletion process (what you publish here is not the business term but the workflow action that will complete the deletion).

Please refer to the last line of this documentation page. I will request a documentation update to provide a more comprehensive description of the deletion process.

    Regards,

    Robert

    Hello Robert,

    I appreciate your help.
I completely comprehended the deletion process, and could delete the terms along with it.
I should have seen the documentation page.

    Thank you,
    Chris
