Important: The Cognos Analytics service requires a dedicated Db2® database to store data. The database is automatically created when you provision the Cognos Analytics service. However, the cluster must contain at least one node that meets the minimum requirements that are specified in Modifying kernel parameters (Linux) in the Db2 documentation.

Work with your Red Hat OpenShift cluster administrator to ensure that at least one node meets these requirements. After you identify a node that satisfies the minimum requirements, label the node. To get in-Depth knowledge on Cognos you can enroll for live cognos tm1 online training

After the Cognos Analytics service is installed, an IBM Cloud Pak for Data administrator must provision an instance of Cognos Analytics.
