Thanks Karen for the informations,
ok for the possibility to have different roles, but you would still have a 'super user' that set those roles. Not sure here in our company who could be, probably someone from security, with some kind of process that when he gets a request from a user, he should have a second person (could be a manger) that approve that request.
Thinking about this aspect what kind of logs are available on CP4D? If someone want to check the activity of each user it is possible?
Thanks

Chiara, I am not sure how others manage this from other customers, but our assumptions from the design side, is that each of the roles you mentioned would have some interest in "managing" different parts of CP4D. The Sys Admin would be likely involved in managing users for the platform, the DB admin would likely be interested in managing catalogs and settings specific to databases, and the Sec Admin might want to set up an integration from another IBM service to monitor the security of the connections and data.
Can you think of any other settings, integrations or configurations that you would have to or want to manage that you would expect to find here?

Not sure who in our the company would be the ideal 'Administrator' for CP4D.
We have data base admin, security admin, system admin...so not sure how to merge in a CP4D admin.
Would like to know how others manage this.

Thanks Chiara.
We are looking at terms like "Configurations" and "Settings" as alternate terms. If you have time... do you have any thoughts on those? Lastly, what configurations would you expect to go to this section for? Do you think of this section as having something there for your needs?

Good point Karen,
probably asset is not the right word...probably would be more correct configuration managment?

Thanks so much for the engagement Chiara!
I am curious if you could expand more on why you think "Asset management" is another option. This section is more for 'administering' the platform and the services and settings configurations, not what I think of as assets like data, files, notebooks, etc.

I would prefer to have all the Administration selection in one place.
Another name could be 'Asset management'.

Cloud Pak for Data features an array of platform settings, configurations, and management tools. Many of them are organized together in the Administration section.
🎟 For 1 ticket, are there any menu items in the Administration section that you would expect to be surfaced somewhere else in Cloud Pak for Data? Oppositely, what other tools or information in Cloud Pak for Data would you expect to find in Administration (that aren't already there)?
🎟 Bonus ticket 🎟, What would you name this section if you couldn't call it "Administration"?
