Michael Lyons- Senior Product Manager
Michael Lyons is a Senior Technical Staff Member with IBM Cloud, and lead architect for the IBM Cloud Object Storage public cloud service. Michael is a deep subject matter expert with IBM Cloud Object Storage, holding nine patents, including for Data Governance In A Dispersed Storage Network Using Bucket Templates. Mike formerly led the SoftLayer storage architecture team, and has worked on Cloud storage since 2014. Most of his career before then involved AIX and POWER systems development and architecture.
Ted Fay
As CTO of VisionArt, Ted helped lead the Oscar and Emmy-winning visual effects team responsible for Independence Day, Godzilla, Dr. Dolittle, and other high-profile film and television projects, and was an early adopter of high-performance storage networks. Ted architected SAN based digital workflows for LucasFilm, Sony, Microsoft, NASA and others, before eventually joining IBM in 2007. At IBM, Ted led the development of automated storage tiering, winning $5.4 billion USD in signings by 2014. Ted then spent three years as chief architect for IBM’s two largest Cloud Object Storage deployments to date, at over an Exabyte raw, servicing hundreds of millions of end-user customers for a Fortune Five client. Ted now serves as a Product Manager for IBM Cloud Object Storage.

Zeeshan Khan is a Product Manager for IBM Cloud Object Storage with a focus on the Cloud Object Storage security, industry compliance programs, and integration with Cloud Key Management Services.
Quaid Nasir
Quaid Nasir a Principal Offering Manager for Cloud Object Storage with IBM Cloud. Quaid is the Product Lead for Cloud Object Storage lifecycle technologies, storage tiers, versioning, tagging, quota, pricing, bucket replication, stability, resiliency, SLA, and Satellite. Quaid has previous experience in Product Management at Amazon, as well as product strategy for IBM software defined storage initiatives. Quaid also served as a Managing Strategy Consultant for IBM Brand profitability and revenue growth, through the use of analytics-based models and market research. Quaid has also worked with IBM Research teams to create predictive analytics and optimization models for forecasting revenue targets across IBM’s Business units, leading cross-functional teams in enabling key corporate strategy initiatives.
Jordan Freedman
Jordan Freedman is a Product Manager for Cloud Object Storage with IBM Cloud. Jordan is responsible for managing the vision and roadmap for using COS with other cloud platform services, using COS as a data lake, and using COS as a disaster recovery target. Jordan also consults with top Fortune 100 clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and turn these into a set of prioritized features based on key metrics that reflect market opportunity. Jordan has developed and managed several strategic partnerships to grow new market segments directly resulting in qualified leads and new customer revenue.
