  • 1.  Awarding of Unearned Badges

    Over the past couple months, I have received unearned badges from Credly that were then transferred to IBM Credentials, If this is happening to you the solution is go to your Credly acct >Settings > Organizations> Turn off automatic accepting of badges.

    Has anyone else had this issue?

    Hi Tom,  This is a widespread issue. Thank you for sharing your idea to limit the IBM Credentials transfers. I have been told that unearned Credly badges will be recalled and no longer be issued in error starting in the next few weeks.

    It was noticed that switching to auto- off transfers has not solved the problem on Credit re awarding of badges, auto off will stop transferring of badges to IBM, if the badge is accepted even though unearned Badge was received that badge would of been transferred to I as of 4/9/24
