I get the same error in regular list reports with newly-created columns in a very similar fashion to your case expression. Have never figured out how to overcome so any solutions from others would be greatly appreciated! Which version are you running? I'm on 11.1.4 with plans to upgrade this year. ...

Sure thing Brenda, let's see if this image comes through: I glanced at other server connections (most of mine are mysql, not ms sql) and they all have that driver class name field below and I never edit it manually. Not sure why it's not listed on yours? Though I'm on 11.1.4 ------------------------------ ...

Here's the jdbc string I use in a data server connection. You can keep some of your params but I'd lose the driver name and everything after that since driver is defined automatically for you in the next field down. Once you test successfully and load metadata, your new server connection will be a choice ...

Laura, this Chrome version update resolved my primary Cognos display issues (still need to do more testing, 11.1.1), thank you for tracking this issue and keeping us updated. ------------------------------ Victoria Ratkos ------------------------------

Thank you that looks great but ctrl + . isn't doing anything on mine. Does it work in 11.1.4/Chrome? ------------------------------ Victoria Ratkos ------------------------------

Hoping this is something simple that I'm just not seeing: I have a dashboard built from a data module with a few different tables in it that have the same column names. I cannot see how to tell which data table I built the visualization from, especially if I'm editing one built a while ago and don't ...

+1 I have started leaving a strip of unused dashboard space on the far right so that end users have a "safe" zone to use their mouse's scroll wheel. Zooming on dashboard items is an understandable feature, but it just doesn't line up with a user's daily constant scrolling behavior. They scroll on every ...

Hi Brenda, I can confirm the behavior is the same in 11.1.4 in that the timestamp starts being added after that first run. That's not a workaround but wanted to let you know it persisted in future versions. Today, I run it then run it again manually to force that timestamp on day 1, which is not ideal ...

Twice now I've been creating a new dataset from a data module but then after an error found that the data module I was using as a source had completely disappeared from my environment. Both times I was creating a dataset from modules that had few columns but an absolutely huge number of rows which probably ...

I found this link to be helpful in learning how to do that (useful even for your use-case which is not percentages): Considerations for percentage calculations in dashboards in Cognos Analytics 11 ------------------------------ Victoria Ratkos ------------------------------
