As a follow-up to the successful upgrade workshops, IBM + Motio have started the 2nd series of Performance Optimization Workshops. The performance of Analytics platforms is essential for data-driven organizations. BI teams want to resolve issues before Cognos performance degrades.

Workshop Sessions and Activities

First, we will go over the Cognos Analytics architecture and system tuning settings.

Then, during several lab exercises, you will learn how to monitor and record the activity within your Cognos environment using Motio ReportCard so you can quickly identify performance issues. You will set up real-time alerts to get notified when unfavorable conditions occur, allowing you to isolate the cause of the disruption.

Last, we will go over the dashboard & report performance considerations to ensure your Cognos platform delivers analytics at the highest level possible.
