As a follow-up to the successful upgrade workshops, Motio with Guest Speakers from IBM have started the 2nd series of Performance Optimization Workshops. Cognos Analytics Architecture and Services Overview

  • Administrative Tuning Considerations in Cognos Analytics 11.2
  • Labs: Monitoring, identifying issues, and Alerts using Motio ReportCard
  • Performance Considerations for Dashboard, Report, and Modeling

First, we will go over the Cognos Analytics architecture and system tuning settings.

Then, during several lab exercises, you will learn how to monitor and record the activity within your Cognos environment using Motio ReportCard so you can quickly identify performance issues. You will set up real-time alerts to get notified when unfavorable conditions occur, allowing you to isolate the cause of the disruption.

Last, we will go over the dashboard & report performance considerations to ensure your Cognos platform delivers analytics at the highest level possible.
