  • 1.  Data Set Refresh Time

    Hi,
    I am using a couple of data sets behind some reports.  A database view is the source to those data sets.

    The data sets have scheduled to refresh every day in the morning.  The below fig 1 is the snap shot of the data sets run time part of a scheduled job.  It shows a data set takes time around 10 minutes and other one does 12 minutes.  Whereas fig 2 shows actual time taken to refresh each data set thru its properties.  They show max 4 minutes.  In this case, why does the schedule always takes around 12 minutes to complete?  Is there any other factor for the cause ?  Could anyone help me to understand?

    Hi,

    We have similar observation in our Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 environment. Did anyone come across an explanation for this?
