    Hi,
I'm using Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX).
When I convert axis to asymmetric the save button disappears
    Any idea why this occurs

Hi Rachael,  There are two styles of view in PA now.  The old style view, this only supports traditional square views and views that are defined via MDX.  If you have an asymmetric view this can only be stored as an MDX view.  In older releases of Pafe (Pax as was) you can not save an MDX view.  In the current release you can, sounds like you need to upgrade.

    Hi Steven,
thanks for your response. We have just upgraded our PA tool in (2019)!.
I've tried to find which version of PA re are running (without raising a ticket) but its not obvious how / if  I can do this.
I will follow up internally to see if I can discover which release we are running

    Hi Rachel

Are you talking on prem or cloud?

It is not easy to know which IBM TM1/Planning Analytics version is installed on your server, even if you know the TM1 server version number it is difficult to tell from the version number if you are using the RTM (first release) or an interim fix or a fix pack .

If you are on cloud then can you email me the company name and I will find out for you.
