    Hello,
    We recently upgraded our Cognos v11.1.3 to v11.1.7. It is a single server windows OS environment. After upgrading the system, we are not able to launch the Cognos reports using the following URL format. This format worked in v11.1.3.

    https://servername:9300/bi/v1/disp?b_action=cognosViewer&run.outputFormat=spreadsheetML&run.prompt=false&CAMNamespace=DCFSADUSERS&CAMUsername=xxxxxxxxx&CAMPassword=xxxxxxxx&ui.object=storeID(%22i1261F828900D49E4AD08F2C8EA63B406%22)&ui.action=run&cv.header=false&cv.toolbar=false

    Just want to check if anyone encountered this issue and found a solution.

    Vithal Madhira – questions:

    1.    Did the Report id change?  I noticed that the URL reference Report by store id and not by path.

    Good morning Vithal,

    Perhaps the best way to understand what might have changed with invoking a report with a URL would be to log into your Cognos 11.1.7 environment, navigate to a report, right-click on it, and choose "Share".

    The URL on the Link tab, in the box labelled Link, is the complete URL to invoke that report.

    As I look at my 11.1.6 environment, I do note that the LINK URL for the report I've chosen does not include the .../v1... in the syntax.  I imagine you will find the same in your environment.

    Thank you Peter and Richard for looking into my issue. I opened a ticket with IBM and I was told to use the following URL format if I include storeID. This format uses 'objRef'.  I hope this info will be useful for others. 

    https://servername:9300/bi/v1/disp?b_action=cognosViewer&run.outputFormat=PDF&run.prompt=false&CAMNamespace=xxxxxx&CAMUsername=xxxxx&CAMPassword=xxxxxx&objRef=iDCAD3452794B4C629FBC2591FA0E182D&ui.action=run&cv.header=false&cv.toolbar=false
