  • 1.  Framework Manager -Multiple instance

I have two framework manager instances in the windows box.

One from 11.0.11 and another one is from 11.1.3

I have branched out each one is separate.

I can open the framework manager in 11.0.11 and can publish it.

But I am getting the blank user login page in 11.1.3 when opening the new model or existing model.

I thought it is a browser issue, but it is  fine in 11.0.11

What is the best to fix the issue?

    Thanks.

what does this mean - "I have branched out each one separate"?
Have you run the configuration tool for the 11.1.3 install to make sure the crypto keys have been generated properly?

Branched out: Installed two instance like 11_0_11 and 11_1_3

in the csk folder, FM generated Keystore and successfully saved FM model

    Thanks.

If I correctly understand the problem which you are encountering, you are running FM, have configured it to the appropriate Cognos server, and see a big, empty window when you are expecting a log-in page.  Is that a correct understanding?  If so, the following steps might address the problem.

    1.  Run internet explorer
    2.  Add the second install's server url to the security / trusted sites list in internet options.   If you are using http rather than https you will need to uncheck the checkbox on the bottom left.

    Hope that helps.

Yes. I added my sandbox URL into the trusted site. Please find attached *.doc for your review. I mentioned what I did in the IE browser.
    Thanks.

    1.  Open FM and get to the point where the empty browser appears.
    2.  Run IE and go to internet options/security
A url should appear in the add this website to the zone field.
    3.  Press the add button.
    4.  Press close.
