Hi Pavithra,

numbers are usually aligned to the right and thus the currency symbol position varies on value length. If you set horizontal alignment to left you should get what you ask for.

Sample currency formatting where Unit Price is aligned to the left while Unit Sale Price uses regular currency formatting or a pattern as described by Jeam.

Thanks for the input .But after giving the pattern also the symbol position is automatically adjusted based on the value and not displaying in same position in all rows.

In column Data Format property, select Currency. And in Pattern put $ ###,###.## ​
