  • 1.  Should PA object be lower case on Linux ?

    Hello,

    after moving Planning Analytics files objects .cub .dim .rux from Windows to Linux I have to rename all of them with lower case to see them into Architect

    is this normal ?

    Hi,

    This is a restriction on Linux/Unix systems where unlike windows, they are case sensitive operating systems.

    You should have a look at the tm1xfer tool that is part of the install directory, it can be used to migrate Windows to Unix and vice versa and I seem to recall that it handles the renaming for you automatically. Very useful if you have a large set of objects.
