  • 1.  TM1 Web Hang

    ​Hi All,

    We are using TM1 10.2.2 FP6 Interim fix 1 currently in production server.

    We're facing TM1Web hang issue and demands for TM1Web service restart. This has happened multiple times now and It's become really difficult to tell precisely as we don't know the exact point when this happens.

    We usually get informed of this by our users so don't know when the Service hung as Architect is fine.

    We would say that it is pretty random as it has happened both when TIs have been run and when they have not at all.

    Bbelow link which is really not ideal to collect so much information during production down scenario as our users heavily use TM1Web heavily across the Globe.

    Where else should I be looking at to narrow down the issue here

    Hi Ajay,

    More information may be required on this. Information to gather would be:
    - if you leave TM1Web alone, does it eventually come back?
    - what's the resources on the TM1Web server?
    - what's the JVM setting set to? Maybe we're maxing out and this needs to be increased?
    - anything being registered in tm1server.log, tm1top.log, tm1web.logs. 
    - what about the windows event logs on the TM1Web Server?

    Also wanted to make you aware that the support for TM1 10.2.x is ending this year.

    Hi,
    Have you checked the java memory? Is it increase during the ‘hang’
    Are you using TM1 application and Cafe to load data?
    Is the memory usage reduce after restarting TM1 App service?
