This is probably more a question for the IBM developers but I wanted to try and understand what the thinking was behind the recent changes to the application menu navigation please.
If you compare v2067 and v2069 (see below), there has clearly been a change in the way that application menus are deployed to users
Whilst I agree that this change has provided some much need space back in the menu, unfortunately; it just looks horrible and the execution of this change is poor to say the least. When you resize the menu, it allows the book names to be stacked side by side which is just horrible and overall, this just looks like something I would have first coded back in my early HTML programming days, i'm sorry to have to say.
No matter what you do to the re-sizing, one of the book names will stack and look strange on the menu navigation pane (see below example).
The other thing I would like to understand is why this change was never documented anywhere in the release notes. I have been through all of the v68 and v69 new features pages and nothing about this change was ever mentioned.
