Planning Analytics

Hi,

Am using WS 2.057.

Add to sheet from a cube view is incredibly useful in Workspace.  There are some things that could do with some work though:

1. Once created, there is no easy way to change what they reference without synchronising and changing the synchronisation.  Adding to the 'fields' window to quickly manipulate would be very useful (or a way of switching back to a grid).

2.  Sometimes these objects seem to fail to render correctly i.e no numbers at all.

3. With auto resizing and relative sizing sometimes the font appears very small even when usually large within the defined space.

4. When switching between the properties of various 'call out boxes', the properties do not update without either closing and re-opening the properties tab or coming out of edit mode and going back in.

I agree with all your points.

I upgraded from 57 to 60 lately and your point number 4 seems to work a lot better in version 60.

Hi James,

We are looking into items 1 and 3.  For item 1 we are planning on using the Fields panel​​​ with the single cell (add to sheet) widget to define the intersection for the cell.  This would allow you to manipulate which cell the widget is pointing to.

I will raise PMRs for 2 and 4.  We can replicate 4 at will.  2 is happening intermittently which will make it more difficult for us both no doubt!

In addition to a support ticket I would strongly suggest retesting in Workspace 2.0.61.

There are a number of performance improvements in 2.0.61 that may address items 2 and 4.   I've seen similar cases that appear to have been resolved in 61.
