  • 1.  PAW SYNCHRONIZATION OPTIONS

    Posted Mon October 25, 2021 04:21 AM
    Hi all

i believe it's great time to improve sysnchronization options .

At the moment when a dimension is out of a view in a selector widget and as a row dimension in a view , PAW shows the selected element and its children.

Most of the time we'd like to have level0 Descendants of the selected element or children without the selected element....

we definetely need options for synchonizations , its too restrictive at the moment.

    regards

    fred

    Hi,

I think you can do this with MDX or combination of Hierarchy and MDX.

For your case, you can create a hierarchy of "model" which contain consolidated elements and create a MDX in row dimension which takes just leaf level elements.

    Hi

because it's synchronized , any MDX you write is removed when you change selection in widget selector , that's the point .

    Hello Frederic,

In the example shared, I think you can achieve that using the option "Hide totals" (right clic on rows).
It will hide the total member and keep childrens (even not directly the descendants).
