HI Scott,
Option 1 will not work.
Option 2 is clever! It will work - but PA needs to support this functionality in an easier manner as I believe it will be required.
Some things in PA/TM1 are too complicated to achieve, and this makes it hard to convince users to adopt it.
Regardless, I appreciate your help!
Thanks,
Shubho

Subject: Is there a way to display the Parent on top of the children in a Cube View?
Hi,
Hierarchies display better as rows than columns. By default there is no way to show parents above children. Here are a couple work arounds in PAW.
- Add the parent as an attribute and then display the attribute. It will put it below the child, but it will be in the same column.
- Create an alternate hierarchy that is a duplicate of the main hierarchy. Next create subsets that only display leaves on the main hierarchy, and only display the parents on the secondary hierarchy. Finally put them both hierarchies on the columns of the view.
Good luck!

I would like the parent to appear above the children below in a Cube View, not before it.
See picture below (actual names have been hidden)
