We've been sent this email from one of our customers and can respond on the software that we supply ourselves, but as a 3rd party supplier of software from IBM they want a response from IBM too.

Do you know if the Kayesa software is used in IBM and if IBM have a statement on this ?

    Thanks

    Good morning,

If you are not the correct recipient of this email, I would be obliged if you could forward this to the most appropriate person/technical team.

As you may be aware, there is an actively exploited vulnerability in the Kaseya VSA remote management product which is being used to deploy ransomware to companies.

As a current or former supplier of services to us, please could you advise if you are affected by the Kaseya VSA security compromise?

Do you or any MSPs/third parties you outsource to use Kaseya VSA products, and have these systems/network been compromised in any way?

Please find the latest updates from Kaseya below.

    https://www.kaseya.com/potential-attack-on-kaseya-vsa/

If you have been affected please provide as much information as you can in answer to the following questions:

.        Do you or have you used Kaseya VSA products?

.        Have you taken action to protect the organisation?

.        Have you checked for any compromise?

.        Is there evidence of any breach?

.        Is there any evidence of any of our data being compromised?

.        If this is under investigation and not yet concluded please advise when this will be completed.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation.

    Kind Regards,

    John
