Looking through my dataset I think I know where I went wrong. I was trying to achieve the same measure setting as in Transformer: Time State Rollup -> Current Period or First/Last Period. What I did was to set the measure in the Dashboard to Aggregate -> None from Total.
What I am trying to do is to make sure that in the dashboard the ending balance does not get summed for each day. This is different from the sales, which can be summed meaningfully for a time period. I was trying to set up a high level table that shows starting balance for the month/year then the sales and then the ending balance. In this case the starting and ending balances should be for the respective dates (first and last periods) while the sales should sum for the entire month/year.
@DENNY NAREZNY Can you please advise where I can achieve this setting for dashboard measures?
Thank you for the help!

@Adrienne Beronilla 3000 rows is a limit for dashboards. It's documented here. Could you provide more details on your use case for dashboards and the need for more than 3000 rows. I would like to feed this back to our team.

Subject: 11.0.13 Dashboard limitation at 3,000 records?
We have Analytics 11.0.13 on prem. I created a dataset that has about 115,000 records. It loads without any issues and within reasonable time. However, when I try to create a dashboard from it, on my main sales measure I get a message that says "Your data was clipped at 3000 items. Apply a filter to show less". My measure then shows an incorrect number. I also noticed that not all visualizations will have incorrect data.
Is this a hard limit on the 11.0.13 dashboard or am I doing something incorrectly?
Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
