When I hover over the created at week (count) I receive a date instead of a number.  How do I change the date to a number?

    Hey Nancy,

Is this a dashboard or ? Also, could you provide more detail on how it's authored? How did you go about creating the "Created at week (count)"? I would like to test this on my end as well.

    Hi Denny,

I created the Dashboard and uploaded an excel spreadsheet to my content folder.  The following is a screen shot of the partial data.  If you like, would do a webex or zoom to demonstrate.  I am new to Cognos Analytics and am struggling a bit.  I have watched the youtube videos and have been reading on-line, but still need some 1x1 guidance.

    Thank you,

I created a data module w/ sample of your data:
I created two calculations for week number - created and closed.
    CrWeek, ClWeek - expressions are : _week_of_year ( Created_week )
This yields the week number - as seen in the image attached.
If you create a dashboard from the module the week number of created week and closed week are available.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Michael,
Thank you for the information.  I tried to get to the data module from new and I don't see data module listed.

Next, I search for WeekNumberTests and Dates Wee...Testcase and was not able to find.

    Thank you,

    Nancy:
What version of CA are you on?
Based on the screen shot you shared you do not appear to have web based modelling enabled.
The technique I provided uses Data modules, a core piece of CA .

    Thanks for the info.
I created a dashboard from the uploaded file
I added 2 calculations to the uploaded data in dashboard.

    _week_of_year ( DatesWeeksTestcase_xlsx.Created_week )
I did not duplicate your dashboard - but I think this is what you need.
see attached screen grabs - done on 11.0.13Week number
    calc in dashboard
