Is anyone else running into this issue? When creating a new data module, if you select 'Discover related tables' and enter a fact table name to search on, Cognos will identify/ recommend related dimension tables to add to the data module. But, instead of labeling the key fields as 'Identifier' for the Usage, it is labeling all key fields as 'Measure'. When the new data module is brought up, there are validation issues as a result (since you cannot create relationships on Measure fields).
For us, this is a new issue since upgrading to 11.1.7 (over the top install). When tested in 11.0.13 against the same database the functionality works as expected (key fields labeled as Usage 'Identifier' and thus no validation issues). The data source is SQL Server 2016, there are multiple data sources and data source connections and the key fields in the fact and dimension tables are data type INT NOT NULL.
I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this? Or, perhaps this is unique to our setup? Thanks!
