  • 1.  Cognos 11.1.1 upgrade - drill-though stops working

    We have upgraded from Cognos 11.0.11 to Cognos 11.1.1.

    Drill-through stopped working in all PDF format reports. Drill-through in HTML reports works fine.

    Anyone  encountered this and have a solution?

    Saw this once recently - it wasn't just with PDF but with all saved reports. The solution was to reconfigure IIS using the latest CA IIS config script and then all the drill-throughs on the saved reports worked again. Let us know if you try this and if it helps.

    Hi Katie,

    Thank you for your post.

    We had already tried the solution ​you mentioned to no avail.

    The reports in question are run in real time, not using saved version. Not sure if this makes a difference.

    Hey Richard,

    Make sure that the Gateway URI set in Cognos Configuration for the dispatcher(s) is correct. Cognos will use this URI to build the drill-through URI
