    Hi,

      Now I'd like to create my own dashboard in Cognos home. But in my home screen, there is no "+ New" button in the left bottom. I am really wondering why I can't find the button even though I got the same access level(author) with my colleague today (confirmed by access list coordinator).
      Could you help give me a advice what is problem?

    If you have the dashboard capability you should be able to create dashboards.

    You can confirm you have this capability by clicking the person icon on the top right -> My Preferences -> Personal -> Advanced -> My capabilities (view details)

    Are you able to create a dashboard from a data module, uploaded file or FM model.

    If you navigate to a model/module/file and click the three dots is there an options to create a dashboard ?

    In addition to Bimpe's reply,  we also need to understand if it is a browser specific issue or it is a permission issue here. Could you do the following?

    1. Clear the browser cache, close the browser(s) and try again?
    2. Try to login using other browser?
    3. If your colleague log in in your browser, can she(he) is seeing the "new > dashboard" option.

    What is your colleague's OS/browser compare to yours?
