@Anthony Bateson I am able to reproduce the problem you are seeing with your mockup excel file. Since it is a "count distinct" in your test case, I expect visualization bar to show "1 unit" on the scale and the tooltip to show "count distinct: 1".
We looked into the data used by the visualization, it is actually using "1" but the tooltip incorrectly showing it as "12/31/1969". The data is correct, visualization is correct. There is a problem with the tooltip. I will log defect to get the problem fixed.
WORKAROUND: We observe that if you are using CSV with date format of yyyy/mm/dd, the tooltip is correctly showing count distinct of "1". Please try out the attached csv. Hope that will help. Please contact support if you need further help.

Anthony,
I tried but not able to see the issue you are seeing. Is it possible for you to share your excel sheet with mockup data? Also, provide me a screenshot showing your visualization in "focus mode" (ie: Show data item on the *slots* beside). In your screenshot, please include the Source Panel as well so that I could see the icon of data items in the tree. Thanks.

Hi Kian, Thank you for responding.
IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0.12
Attribute > Count Distinct
It is displaying the correct dates in the Data Tray

@Anthony Bateson
What is the CA version you are using? What is the usage(ie: identifier, measure or attribute) for the data item "Business Continuity Training"? You can check that in the Source Panel > data item > "..." > Properties.
Also, in your dashboard, click on the grid tab to open the Data Tray. Is it showing the actual date there?
Note: You can find the grid tab at the bottom of the dashboard canvas.

Hello, I am hoping that someone could help me with this issue I can't seem to figure out.
I built a Stacked Bar Chart visualization in one of my dashboards using an excel spreadsheet and everything looks great except when I hover over any bar it displays 12/31/1969 instead of the actual dates. Any ideas? TIA
