    Hi,

Give the folders Read and Traverse access and any reports/dashboards are given read, execute and traverse.

    Hi Hashim,

One thing I recommend is to log in as the User and look at their Groups/Roles under their Preferences. I've often not realized they were part of another group that had access to the folder I was trying to restrict.

    Hi Hashim,

Since you applied the permissions for Team Content folder with the option 'Apply to all children' unchecked, you need to make sure the individual folders were not given access to this group earlier. Also, look at the description of each permission in this link: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cognos-analytics/11.1.0?topic=permissions-simple-granular-access . Since you are customizing the access, note that Read will allow users to view the folders and Traverse lets them navigate into the folders.

Also, in the permissions screenshot in your first post, you mentioned the group BM GROUP but in the last screenshot where you were showing the groups and roles user is part of, this group is not visible which means the user is not part of this group.

    Regards
