@Lubomir J The following should work:
1. Take a full backup of your existing Cognos content store (This is so you can restore if needed)
2. Delete the custom "Information distribution" role you created.
3. Create another full Content store backup"
4. Have your DBA create a new content store database
5. Stop your Cognos environment
6. Open Cognos Configuration and point to the new content store created in step 4
7. Start the service and confirm if you see the "Information Distribution" role
8. Import the deployment created in step 3
9. Validate the Information Distribution role is now available
Note* Best to perform these steps on a test/sandbox sever before testing in a Cognos prod environment.

Hello,
do you have any tips how to solve the issue when "Information distribution" role has been deleted and due this fact some users has lost capability to run a report? Unfortunatelly we don't have the backup of content store. I can't say why some users have access to the report because I can't check the all settings in CA portal. Due to this reason I have tried to create a new role and set the same capabilities as in the case of "Information distribution" role but it doesn't work.
