    Hi Folks,
    I noticed in the new version 11.1.4 there is a new IBM Weather Company data source connector.
    Is there a test data source or a trial I can take advantage of to see what sort of data is available ?.

    Sadly the links to the sample in question do not exist !.
    C'mon IBM give us some better documentation and working samples please - your competitors have the ability to ship out products and samples every month. Shipping out incomplete documentation is pretty disappointing !.

    IBM Weather Company uses an API key which you have to purchase from them.

    I read through the weather company site and the CA weather company connection information and it looks like you can use the trial package on the weather company site to create an app which will give you an API key that should have access to location, history, and forecast.  
    I did the above and followed instructions for samples setup but haven't been able to get the weather data module to work - it still tells me i don't have access to forecast and history data.

    Do you have link for where you found the information for the trial package.  We have an agency that is interested in incorporating data into their reports, but we need to proof it out first.​

    It was possible to have an API Key via IBM Cloud and the Weather Company service. But the service is no longer available in IBM Cloud. So now we must ask an API Key directly via the Weather Company.
    But there is many levels of services available and nobody knows what level of service is needed to query the weather company data server via Cognos Analytics. It's very disappointing to have a great function in this 11.1.4 and nobody knows how to use it 1 month after the 11.1.4 was released.

    Access to historical weather data is part of their History On Demand package

    Access to forecast data is part of their Enhanced Forecast package
