    @Deepak Seth I'm not sure I understand fully what you are trying to achieve. With Javascript, you can create expand and collapse menus in HTML output. We have a few examples of this in our JS Sample reports. But you are trying to do this in Excel? Can you provide an example on how to achieve this in Excel outside of using Cognos? If I have a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish, I will be able to let you know if this is possible in Cognos

    @Deepak Seth,

    There is currently no functionality built into the product to allow expand and collapse menus ​when exporting to Excel. This would need to be done from Excel after the output has been generated.
