unable create or edit report

    Need help to get report to work.
    Yesterday, by some fluke, I was able to create a report/query and today I cannot edit it.  Also, every time I run the report, it times out. 

    I'm new to cognos and only gotten this far by clicking on buttons and seeing what happens.
