Visualizations Issue - Measure Groups Using Same Color

  • 1.  Visualizations Issue - Measure Groups Using Same Color

Using Cognos Analytics Dashboard, I am creating two line graphs (two separate visualizations) with two measures each. One of the visualizations will show metrics on a square foot basis and the other visualization will show the metrics on a number of facilities metric. The two metrics I am comparing are market vs equilibrium. I want the equilibrium line to be green in both visualizations, but when I make a copy of the first visualization to switch out the y-axis values OR create a brand new visualization, Cognos either reverses the colors, making the equilibrium line blue or will make both lines in the visualization the same color (either both green or both blue, making it difficult to distinguish).

I've tried creating a custom two-colored palette with various color variations and continue to get the same two issues. Any suggestions for working around this or anyone experiencing the same issue?
