  • 1.  How to specify the page to be sent out when using event studio to schedule report

    I have a report that needs event studio to schedule.
    The report has 2 pages,  the 1st page needs to be sent out as email attachment , and 2nd part needs to be sent as email body.

    How can I configure that in event studio?

    My workaround currently is to create two reports, and then add two report tasks, for body and attachement separately, and use a email task to send. however, the SQL behind takes 30min to finish each, that will add up to 1hour.

    @ella ye - Your workaround would be the best way to have one page/report attached and the other in the body.

    Event Studio Agents should run the Report Tasks in parallel. If you look at the past activity of the event, do you see both report task executing at the same time?

    It might be a bug with the version I'm using. And I'm talking to internal cognos support so that they can liaise with IBM.
    This thread was mainly to check if there are any better way than my workaround. Thanks for the answer as always
