Session cookies no longer getting removed

    I am sure this is due to a change pushed by our workstation administrators but recently we've noticed session cookies, like ones used by Cognos Analytics, are no longer removed when the browser is closed. This seems to randomly cause the dreaded "Invalid login response" error for our users. Using the developer tools in Chrome I was able to prove this by capturing the session cookies from the current session and then a "new" session after closing the browser and they are identical. I am also not prompted to authenticate either which was the first clue. I tried adding the site to always clear cookies which didn't seem to do anything. Does anyone happen to know what setting in Chrome might be causing this?

    Never mind. We recently switched to using web based Google chat and so there is always a Chrome session open.
