IBM Planning Analytics and Cognos Community Day

By Stephanie Freyer posted Thu May 14, 2020 11:38 AM

Our first virtual Community Day was a great success! Brought to you by IBM User Group Days 2020, the event held on May 19 included 10+ Planning Analytics and Cognos sessions, 1:1 meetings and live chat. Our Community Day was established to help our users be ready for anything with AI-infused planning, forecasting and business intelligence.

All the sessions are now available on demand for you to view through mid-August.

Surviving in an environment of disruption depends on your ability to pivot to react to change and be ready for anything that may hit you. It is important to understand all of the different factors that may impact your customers. You need to be able to connect the information required across all of the different departments and business units in your organization to get a complete picture of what is working and what needs improvements. You also need to understand how shifting your strategy can give you the best opportunity to grow your business. Understanding what happened is important, but getting to an understanding of why it happened and what’s next is critical to staying ahead of the game.

This live digital event was an interactive day of sessions where attendees heard from Director of Offering Management Mike Norris, who shared his vision for Planning Analytics and Cognos – exploring the importance of integrating AI, and creating a more unified user experience. Offering Managers answered questions and shared insights about the future of our products, and clients who are leveraging Planning Analytics and Cognos today to make a real impact on their business and managing the challenges of today’s environment.
