IBM Maximo Application Suite offers a powerful component called Maximo Health, designed to get the current state of the asset and helps to improve asset’s reliability by understanding asset health and taking action.  It enables organizations to evaluate asset performance and take actions to improve operational efficiency. In today’s data-driven landscape, enterprises increasingly require tailored insights. Custom scorecards in Maximo Health address this need by allowing organizations to define and visualize key asset parameters aligned with specific business objectives.

How to create custom score card:

Step 1 : Access Score Types : Navigate to Score Settings -> Score Types tab
Step 2 : Create a New Score Type : Use the Create Score Type action to define a custom score type. Example: “SR Effectiveness”
Step 3 : Define Score Ranges : Configure relevant scoring ranges for the new Create Score Type and save. Example: “Good”, “Fair”
Step 4 : Associate with a Group : Go to Score Settings → Groups and select the appropriate group.
Step 5 : Add the Custom Score Type : In the Scores section, click the (+) icon to associate the custom score type with the group.
Step 6 : Associate Contributors : Associate the identified contributor to the custom score type added to the group in Step 5.
Step 7 : Calculate Scores : Click Calculate Scores to compute the score immediately for the selected group.

Expected Result:
Once configured, navigate to an asset associated with the selected score group. The custom scorecard will appear under the Custom Scores section of the Health dashboard, displaying the calculated score.
