IBM Z Hardware and Operating Systems Ideas portal based on Aha!. Any new RFE is to be opened in the new IBM Ideas Portal based on Aha!.
Why did Request for Enhancements (RFEs) migrate?
You spoke, we listened - We're changing the way ideas are submitted to IBM. For many years, the IBM RFE Program has provided an opportunity for customers, business partners and IBMers to suggest changes to our products and services. However, we know from what you have told us that it hasn't always been easy to understand the status of your ideas. This is now about to change. We are now embarking on an IBM-wide program to provide you with a better way to tell us what you need.
How do I submit a new Idea, for z/OSMF and other related IBM products?1. Go to the
IBM Z Hardware and Operating Systems Ideas portal2. Click + ADD A NEW IDEA
3. When prompted, sign in with your email address that is associated with your IBMid then a form displays
4. Choose the workspace “z/OS” for this idea
5. Enter your idea. If similar Ideas display:
- Click the Title of an Idea to display the details about the Idea
- If you find an Idea that is the same as your Idea, click Vote to add your vote to the existing Idea
- If the details of your use case are different from the raiser, join the discussion by adding a comment
- Click Subscribe to be notified of when the status of the Idea changes
6. If there are no similar Ideas:
- Choose the category “z/OSMF” for this idea
- Complete remaining fields. Put any information that you do NOT want to display to the public in "Additional Details"
- Click ADD IDEA
How do I vote for an existing Idea to increase the chances IBM takes the action requested in the Idea?1. Go to the
IBM Z Hardware and Operating Systems Ideas portal2. Sign in using your IBMid
3. Enter in search terms relating to the topic you are interested in
4. To limit your search results by product, click a product name (like “z/OS -> Core Infrastructure -> z/OSMF”) under FILTER BY CATEGORY
5. Click the Title of an Idea to view more details about the Idea
6. Click Vote to add your vote to the Idea
7. If the details of your use case are different from the raiser, join the discussion by adding a comment
8. Click Subscribe to be notified of when the status of the Idea changes
