We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM^® Semeru Runtime^™ Open Edition v26 (26.0.0) (Feature release).

This release is based on OpenJDK jdk-26+35 (latest OpenJDK feature release that contains OpenJDK 26) and Eclipse OpenJ9 0.58. The binaries have been made available on our standard distribution sites as on 18^th Mar 2026. With this feature release of IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition, one can take advantage of the latest OpenJDK feature release (v26) combined with the latest Eclipse OpenJ9 capabilities.
