We’re excited to share the latest release of IBM DevOps Loop 2025.09 (v1.0.3)—a platform update that makes it easier for teams to adopt the platform, extends AI-driven orchestration, and delivers richer analytics for practitioners and teams.
This release focuses on simplifying onboarding, extending automation, and embedding AI-driven capabilities across the delivery lifecycle.
What’s New in DevOps Loop 2025.09
- Learning Loops with Sample Data
When you deploy a new Loop, you can now prepopulate it with sample data and dev containers—making it easier to understand the full platform experience and accelerate adoption in labs, demos, and training.

- Agentic Loop Genie (AI-powered orchestration)
The new Agentic Loop Genie, built on MCP components, automates cross-capability tasks. Developers can interact directly from IDEs like VS Code to orchestrate actions across planning, control, and more.
- Build Automation Integration
Build is now seamlessly integrated into Loop creation, with preconfigured connections so projects and pipelines are instantly visible and ready to run.
